The St. Clement Bakers Ministry helps bridge St. Martin of Tours to grieving families at the time of loss. Volunteers bring home-baked goods such as cakes, cookies, etc. to the funeral home as a gesture of kindness and condolences from the parish.
This corporal work of mercy is perfect for those who want to play an active role in the life of the parish but find it challenging due to the busyness of life. Email Joanne, ministry coordinator, to be added to the list of bakers. Volunteers are notified on a rotation basis.
Our patron is Saint Clement Marie Hofbauer, a Redemptorist saint and patron of bakers as well as the apostle and patron saint of Warsaw and Vienna and considered the second founder of the Redemptorist Congregation. His Feast Day is March 15.
